String Cheese Bunny Cheese Stick Snacks
Hippity hoppity, here comes a cute and easy (and nutritious!) snack idea! Make up some easy string cheese bunny cheese stick snacks and use our free printable ears for the perfect finishing touch!
When I originally went to post this snack idea, my mind was on Easter and the obvious bunny theme that surrounds this holiday. However it did eventually occur to me that you could definitely use these snacks for non-Easter events. This snack idea is perfect for the preschool crowd and would also make a great addition to a barnyard themed birthday party menu.

String Cheese is a Great Snack for Kids
Having just come from the kids’ dentist where one of my kids has a new cavity, I cannot express enough that I am always trying to encourage healthier, lower sugar snacks in our house. We always have a bag of mozzarella string cheese sticks on hand, with the occasional cheddar cheese sticks as well. Both of my kids (and myself) enjoy string cheese. It’s easy, portable, and we already discussed the fact that it’s a healthier choice than many other snacks.
So grab a pack or two of cheese sticks the next time you are at the store and make up some adorable string cheese bunnies!

How to Assemble String Cheese Bunny Snacks
Print out our page of small bunny ears. Note: this printable is for personal use only.
Cut out however many pairs of ears you need (1 pair of ears per cheese stick). You can cut the ears out individually if you’d like, but I found it much easier to cut them into pairs.
Roll a small piece of clear tape into a loop and stick a pair of ears on the top of each string cheese stick.
Draw the bunny’s face (eyes, nose, whiskers, mouth) with the Sharpie Markers.
That’s it!
Tip: Keep in mind that cheese sticks need to be refrigerated. So if you are planning to send these snacks to school, you will want to send them in with some sort of ice pack/cooler bag combo. If you are tossing them in a bag with an ice pack, I would wrap the cheese sticks in a plastic grocery bag and place that bag in the cooler bag. This will keep the ice pack from getting any condensation on your bunny ears (which would cause the ink on your super cute ears to run).
