Sometimes it can be tough to get the kids to eat their fruit and veggies. Well, I have one kid (Landon) who will eat unlimited quantities of just about every fruit and veggie known to man. Then there’s Lily, who likes a random strawberry or two and that’s about it. This Easy Healthy Tropical Fruit Frozen Yogurt Recipe that we whipped up today is so tasty, BOTH of my kids kept asking for more! (I did too – it’s scrumptious and takes about two minutes to make!)
This recipe was inspired by a similar version that I found on Just A Taste. Her version used peaches instead of tropical fruit.
Ingredients:
16 oz frozen tropical fruit medley
3 TBSP honey
1 TBSP lemon juice
1/2 Cup Fat Free Plain Yogurt
How to make:
1. Add all ingredients to food processor. Blend until creamy.
2. Enjoy immediately or freeze to eat later. I garnished mine with a fresh strawberry!

Once you blend the fruit, doesn’t it count as points because it’s taken out of its original form?
I always followed the “0 point food + 0 point food = 0 point recipe” rule and haven’t seen it affect weight loss progress.
