Silhouette Portrait Project

Are you ready to see another project that I made with my Silhouette Portrait Machine? This project is exciting on two different levels. The first is that I have made yet another fun personalized item that I know is going to get a lot of use. The second is the price. It all started a couple of weeks ago when Bob shopped the CVS Christmas clearance (then marked at 75% off). He found a pair of plain white headphones (originally $9.99) on sale for just $2.50. Each side of the headphones has a nice flat space.

Lily frequently uses headphones with her ipod or innotab, especially on road trips. I thought it might be fun to use my Silhouette to personalize this pair for her. Not only will she love the design, but it will also make her headphones easier to spot when she’s with her friends and they all have their headphones and tablets/ipods.

To make these headphones I used purple vinyl (from this vinyl multipack) and traced a horse and horse shoe image that I found online.  I put Lily’s name in the middle of the horse shoe.

I love how they turned out!

Here’s a little vid that I made in Instagram as I put this together:

The time I scored headphones for $2.50 at CVS (Christmas clearance) and jazzed them up for my favorite little cowgirl!! I cut this vinyl on my Silhouette Portrait machine!
